Mummies in the Bedroom, by Cindy Rene

. . . Then I walked right by it. Walking to somewhere I don’t remember, I caught the sun on the wall, enraptured by the light cascading into my room—I was taken. Then taken out of the moment by a slight on the wall. Not a slight but really now a memory.

Born and bred in Brooklyn, Cindy Rene is a creative writer and recent graduate of Villanova University. She's currently working in film and television production and alternative media spaces. Her current and past obsessions include reading Octavia Butler, watching her plants grow, and as always, The Sopranos.
